Bio
Originally from a quaint Missouri small town, Sutton Porth is a self taught musician who is currently a Nashville-based singer-songwriter. Sutton draws on his country roots and love of rock to create cross-genre music that appeals to any listener. He just released his debut EP “Second Choice” and is working on releasing a full album for his next project.
After he first picked up a guitar and learned to play some Green Day hits, Sutton soon learned that no one was going to sit and listen to his rendition of “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” for the tenth time. So, he joined the worship band at church to get more play time. While he joined the church band with a slightly impure motive, this decision changed the trajectory of Sutton’s life. Now, he is in his eighth year of vocational ministry, and currently serves as the Worship and Creative Arts Director of a church in Brentwood, Tennessee, just minutes from downtown Nashville. Sutton’s unique background allows him to draw upon a wide range of experiences for his songwriting, displaying both the heights and depths of human emotion.
